Trova de Cabrales
The "Trova" is a satirical poem written in the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries by various authors. It is a critique to the "caciques" (influential people) of Cabrales, his residents and to the society of that time. After the introduction, a revision is made village for village, being these:
Arangas, Arenas, Poo, Carreña, Asiego, Inguanzo, Berodia, and El Través. It concludes with an epilogue.
The version here written is the compiled by Vicente Fernández Posada (to see bibliography).
